All Over Town - De Novo Dahl - Cats & Kittens (CD, Album)

 · Just listen to "Target Practice" and "All Over Town" one after the other. As a result, it's both better and worse than "Cats." It's better in the sense that it adds an enchanting extra layer to the music, and shows the hallucinogenic pop mentality De Novo Dahl is capable of/5(4).

 · De Novo Dahl; Cats & Kittens. an album that similarly tossed big-hooked guitar pop, electronic weirdness, "All Over Town", which follows infectious, pumping verses with a huge chorus /5.

De Novo Dahl impressed as an up-to-the-minute college radio band, costumed in psychedelic prison uniforms and playing fun art pop from their indie-label double-disc “Cats & Kittens.” You’d think it might be a New York or San Francisco band, but De Novo Dahl calls Nashville home.

     · De Novo Dahl, hailing from the college town of Murfreesboro, TN, near Nashville, previously has released only a six-song self-titled EP, but Cats & Kittens, the group's first full-length album, is actually much more than full-length. Cats, if you will, is a track CD, while its counterpart, Kittens, contains the same 16 songs "remixed," as the press release puts it.
